Proxy: Pretend that there is a girl that is being cyber bullied. On the other hand, the cyber bully doesn't want to get into more trouble than he is. He or she would get someone else to do their work for them so they can blame it on them. The person that is the cyber bully messenger doesn't even know that he/she is being use.
Here are some examples of where it can happen: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Text messages, etc.
Direct: Imagine that there is a little girl being sad, depressed and angry. She doesn't want to go back to school because of all of those mean things that the cyber bully said to her. On the other hand, the cyber bully said all of those things all by himself.
So direct means that it is only one cyber bully. There is nobody else but him.
